With 7 offices across the UK, Midhurst is their head office and houses a team of 15 professionals across Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Accounts. They have a diverse range of clients, with this particular team focused on The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (worldwide).

With continued growth, this client is now recruiting for a Project Manager to join their head office in Midhurst, West Sussex.

Person Specification – Project Manager:

  • Built Environment Degree (not essential but desired – preferably degree qualified or working towards)
  • Driven, motivated, organised and enthusiastic with ambition to succeed within an ever expanding organisation
  • Ability to work with own initiative when required and manage workload efficiently
  • Strong IT and reporting skills alongside good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Excel beneficial
  • Driving licence essential
  • Understanding of CDM regulations
  • Understanding of NEC3 contracts

Roles & Responsibilities – Project Manager:

The Project Manager role itself will be working/supporting other contract managers (who are based in the Southampton office mainly) on maintenance and reconfiguration/refurbishment projects across various FCO (Foreign & Commonweath Office) projects. This will involve the following:

  • Pre-construction works (PQQ and Quotation/Tender preparation);
  • H&S information and planning;
  • Project Programmes;
  • Obtaining quotations from the supply chain;
  • Assisting with control throughout project lifecycle;
  • Client and site meetings;
  • Preparation of reports e.g. Progress reports;
  • Inspection of works/snagging;
  • Liaising with the commercial team for valuations etc.
  • Project completion/handover.

Salary & Package – Project Manager:

Our client is offering this Project Manager position a salary of up to £60,000 dependent on experience car + training + progression + pension + laptop + phone etc

Further training will be provided alongside a structured training/development plan
