The office Christmas party was booked back in September and company planning for the New Year is well and truly underway, that includes recruitment. Brexit is still an unknown but the panic is over and employers are seeing growth and realising that it’s time to crack on.

If your notice period is 1 month and you interview in December, you still have the chance of January start. A good recruiter won’t just take your CV, they’ll talk through all these important factors with you but it is worth having a think before you call us.
Now comes the task of updating your CV. If you already have one, an update is all that’s required. Our advice is to keep it simple. No fancy fonts, pictures or graphics, just show us what experience you have and where your skills lay. Show the person viewing your CV why they should employ you. Don’t miss anything out that may be relevant, the 2-page CV is outdated if you ask me. If the information is relevant and bleeds on to 3 pages… I still want to read it.
